Monrovia’s Own Bella Sera Trattoria to be Featured LIVE on KTLA 5 Morning News - Friday Bella Sera Trattoria, Monrovia’s locally famous modern Italian fusion hotspot, will take part in a special LIVE feature on Friday’s KTLA 5 Morning News broadcast. Those familiar with Bella Sera Trattoria have experienced it’s delightfully fresh and delicious Italian food each day since owners Joe and Dana Borrelli took over in April of 2014. The “New” Bella Sera opened its doors as part of a complete ownership change and renovation. Located at 422 South Myrtle Avenue in historic Old Town Monrovia, Bella Sera Trattoria’s menu features familiar entrees you’ve loved for years such as homemade pastas and meats as well as their own inventive dishes like their famous braised short-rib ragu. Since 2014, the rave reviews from local patrons haven’t stopped pouring in. So much so in fact, that Joe and Dana decided to take over the space next door to the Trattoria to open the now acclaimed “Bottega at Bella Sera”, which offers locals the very best in gourmet deli meats, cheeses, sandwiches, handcrafted olive oils and vinegars, groceries and desserts. It was announced this week that Bella Sera Trattoria will be featured on the KTLA 5 Morning News as part of its live broadcast this coming Friday, September 21st. “We’ve watched KTLA 5 feature other local restaurants and their food for years and couldn’t be more excited for them to feature ours.” said Bella Sera Trattoria owner Joe Borrelli. “We’re looking forward to it very much and hope our patrons will tune in!” Said Borrelli.
